“Another year gone, leaving everywhere its rich spiced residues: vines, leaves, the uneaten fruits crumbling damply in the shadows.”

My dears,
Fall has arrived here in the Pacific Northwest, and as an East Coast native, my worries for lack of fall foliage have been quelled as the leaves are bursting with saturation in shades of bright fuchsia, deep burgundy, and rustic, brick brown, and burnt orange. All set against a backdrop of lush evergreens, of course. The contrast is stark and makes the turning of the leaves ever the more precious to someone who adores this aspect of autumn.
The fall season always offers an opportunity to slow down and reflect on what is making sense in my life, what may need some reevaluation, and what downright does not resonate with me anymore. I've been realizing that the format of these new moon Lumen Letter editions, the separation of MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT sections, isn't really doing it for me anymore. I always struggle putting things into boxes. A lot of the time I feel as though there's too much nuance in life for a reductionist approach. So I'm letting go of that format and restructuring my new moon letters in a way that leaves room for more nuance. I'm not entirely sure what that looks like from letter to letter, and that's also part of the point - to not confine myself to a particular box that I must work within.
One thing will stay constant regardless of how these letters shape shift as they find their form from one new moon to the next. I can promise you that I'll continue to serve up some serious gems to help you align with a holistically human lifestyle.
I hope you enjoy this newfound freedom in form as much as I do.
