The moon is bright. The sun is bright. It's one of those juicy Summer days, ripe with a fullness for life. And yet, I already feel Summer slipping through my fingers. We look forward to this season all year long (especially here in the PNW), then somehow, it fills up and flies by.

Lost in a swirl of Summer on 4th of July weekend, I realized I had yet to plan out and publish my free online offering for July. In queue for July was a Summer edition of the HAVEN, but that wasn't feeling congruent with the rhythm of Summer thus far. So I let go of sticking to the plan, or the idea that I needed to hurry up and figure out what would replace the HAVEN this July. I opened up to the creative process, and I slowed down.

Every day, it seems like there's more. More to do, more to learn, more to unlearn. A little more to consider, a lot more to grow. This is the blessing, and curse, of the Summer season. This fullness for life sometimes leaves us feeling overstuffed.

My sessions with private clients, my in-person classes, my on-demand Luminous Flow classes, they are always informed by the cycle of the seasons. Each month, there's a seasonally attuned theme or guiding force for how I work with others. I returned to what I wrote for July's Fire element focus and as if reading my future in the coals of a fire, my class took shape...

My signature movement class is  s l o w i n g  d o w n  to provide your body the time + space it craves to indulge in sweet, restorative movement.

Gentle, therapeutic stretching paired with breath work allows your nervous system to down regulate. We'll keep things low and slow, meaning we will be moving slowly on the floor in this class - no standing work. Learn how to avoid late Summer burn out, and savor the slow rhythm of Summer.

My dear friend and plant medicine witch, Amy Terepka of Groundwater Healing, and I have been dreaming up an offering centered around communal celebration. In the wingspan of Lughnasadh, as we harvest the fruits of our year’s intentions and dedicated work, we luxuriate together, with the Earth, in gratitude for all that’s unfolded. We soak up the sun and bask in the gifts of our bodies and the land. And we dance and move our prayers for collective healing, renewal, and blessing for the year to come.

HARVEST creates a space for us to turn to the world, to love on the land, and to communally dance for the renewal of this world we all share. For those of you local to the PNW, we invite you to join us for this ceremonial day-long immersion.

The scenic surroundings of Sunblossom Farm serve as your muse for this unique movement experience on the mat. These classes are designed to awaken your senses, activate your muscles, and nourish your spirit. My teaching style weaves together a creative, yet functional approach to a hatha-vinyasa yoga practice through anatomical awareness, therapeutic practices, nature connection, and energetic explorations. Class will open with breath work and intention setting, then we'll dive into a thorough warm up where you're bound to learn something new about how your body works. Slow flowing movement sequences will follow, and class will wind down with relaxing stretching and plenty of time to rest and integrate. These classes are open to all levels.

Space is limited to 10 people to ensure a truly magical experience.

Let's move our bodies, breathe deeply, work some shit out on the dance floor, and find our groove, together. I love leading this movement experience - dancing has always been my favorite form of therapy, and I want to share this movement medicine with each of you.

This 30 minute cardio movement class combines your own dance moves with guided functional fitness body weight exercises. You'll be having so much fun you won't even realize you're working out. Open to all levels, leave your inhibitions behind and bring your best dance moves!
